THOMAS E. HELBIG,
M.D., F.A.A.O.S.
Dr. Helbig is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following his residency in Orthopaedic surgery, he was a fellow in spine surgery at the State University of New York - Health Science Center at Syracuse, NY.
Dr. Helbig's chief professional interest is in the complicated area of adult reconstructive surgery including hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as arthroscopic procedures.
Minimally invasive total knee replacement is a new procedure that is also done by Dr. Helbig. This surgery involves a smaller incision and an easier, shorter recovery period. Patients should contact the office to schedule a convenient consultation so a determination can be made whether the patient is a candidate for the procedure
